Label 51 Recordings were born from a shared vision of music as an enduring art form. Bill Hein, a pioneer in vinyl distribution and label creation, laid the foundation with groundbreaking successes like Enigma Records and Restless Records. Andy Zicklin’s love for underground music and entrepreneurial spirit fuels our alternative focus.

Our roster spans genres and generations, offering platforms for both iconic voices and groundbreaking newcomers. We believe in empowering artists with tools for success, from top-tier production management by Travis Whitlock to comprehensive marketing, under industry veteran Dee Ann Metzger and Project Manager A/R with Bob Schmidt. Together, we create spaces where music thrives.
