Creative Assets for Artists

Explanation and Examples of Creative Assets for Artists

Each type of content has a specific purpose and fits into a stage of the sales cycle. The goal is that, with each publication, the artist guides their audience from initial discovery to final purchase. (Please review each video, as they have significant statistics because the platform wants them that way; here, we need to understand the needs of the networks and not just what or how we want to show it.) This will help us achieve better results in the promotion and sale of your material.

1. Demonstration

This content showcases your creative process, whether in the studio, during a rehearsal, or at a live session. Its purpose is to grab the attention of new people and show your authenticity.
  • Example: A short, dynamic 15-30 second video of you in the recording studio, layering sounds on a computer or playing an instrument. The shot can be sped up (time-lapse) to make it more appealing.

2. Testimonials

Here you use your fans or other people as social proof. This type of content builds trust and convinces people that your music is valuable and appreciated.
  • Example: A Reel combining several clips of people at your concert, jumping and singing your songs. You can add an overlay text that says "The energy at the last show was incredible 🚀".

3. Press

If you have been mentioned in blogs, magazines, or media outlets. This gives you credibility.
  • Example: A video with a screenshot of an article about you, with the headline highlighted. You can set one of your songs as background music and add a small animation pointing to the most important parts of the text.

4. Aspirational

This content doesn't sell the music itself, but rather the emotion it produces. It creates an emotional connection by showing scenes that people associate with your music.
  • Example: A cinematic-style video of someone driving on a road at sunset, or a group of friends laughing at a party, with your song in the background. The message is: "Your music is the soundtrack to unforgettable moments."

5. Benefits

Instead of talking about the song, talk about how the song benefits the listener. What do they gain from listening to it?
  • Example: A video with on-screen text that says "You need an energy boost for your workout ⚡️" and, at the same time, shows someone exercising to your music.

This type of creative asset focuses directly on what you sell: an album, a T-shirt, a hat. It is a clear and attractive shot of the product.
  • Example: A short, well-lit video showing your vinyl spinning on a turntable, or a video where you wear your own merchandise T-shirt so people can see how it looks.

10. Human Sing

This is the most personal content. It's an opportunity for people to see the human behind the artist. It's an unfiltered, direct video.
  • Example: A 10-15 second vertical video where you look directly at the camera and sing a cappella a fragment of a new song or tell a personal anecdote about how you wrote it.
