Matt Piucci and Steven Roback, co-founders of Rain Parade alongside David Roback, have been crafting songs together since 1981. Their debut album, Emergency Third Rail Power Trip, released in 1983, is celebrated globally as a psychedelic masterpiece. Critics, including Jim DeRogatis, praise the LP as one of the finest of its genre. This influential album, which has inspired bands like My Bloody Valentine and The Stone Roses, is now available as a black vinyl double LP and a double CD, remastered by Jim Hill in 2023, featuring a second disc of rare tracks.

The new release is packaged in a gatefold album jacket with extensive liner notes and photos, making it a must-have for collectors and new listeners alike.
